Keeping your workspace secure
The dashboard uses dd-web-auth cookies and related verification or numbered variants for sign-in and session renewal. They are protected from ordinary page-script access and marked Secure in production. Signing out clears this application's authentication cookies.
The dd-web-restaurant cookie remembers the selected restaurant for the signed-in user. It is a preference, not permission to access that restaurant. Browser expiry is set by the applicable authentication or cookie behavior; this draft does not assign an unverified lifetime.
Your chosen appearance
The dashboard stores a requested appearance in local storage under driverdrops-appearance. The current stored value has no automatic expiry. It remains until changed or removed, including by clearing site data in your browser.
Clearing site data can also sign you out and reset preferences. Blocking storage needed for sign-in can prevent the dashboard from working. Final appearance controls should provide an easy way to remove the saved preference.
Payments and optional technologies
Hosted Stripe checkout is planned. Stripe may use storage for payment completion, fraud protection and user-selected Stripe features when its payment service is opened. Its exact behavior will be included in the final implementation and notice.
Current DriverDrops error reporting disables session replay. This draft does not authorise advertising pixels or optional audience analytics. Any later storage must be assessed for its purpose and an applicable exception or valid consent, with clear information and the required controls.
